HOW DO WE PARTNER WITH SCHOOLS?

(QUITE EASILY, ACTUALLY.)

Purchase the course for 5, 10 or 20 trainees. If you only have 7 trainees this month, no worries! Buy a pack of 10 and you have 3 extra to use for next month's course. It's always good to have an extra course or two to send to prospective trainees. If they decide not to sign up for your TEFL program within 2 weeks of starting our grammar course, we'll reset that course for you to use with another student.

Step 2.png

You're in! Once you've purchased, you'll receive a link along with the unique coupon codes for each trainee, as well as copy-&-paste instructions for you to send them to access the course.

TEFL Trainers and Grammar Course grads:

"Our trainees are much better prepared to approach the grammar sessions on our TEFL course, than our past trainees who did not take the online course. I love that I can confidently tell current trainees to take a deep breath and review the online course as a study tool whenever they feel worried about not knowing something. The truth is that grammar can seem scary when you haven't been actively thinking about it; these video help a great deal to deconstruct it into bite-size chunks."

- Nicole Piccinino TEFL Trainer, The Language House Prague

"The online video course is a wonderful grammar resource! The length of each videos is great with the main points being presented. The visuals and stories add a nice personal touch to the videos and keep viewers interested. Also, the various options for testing your knowledge with the flashcards are very helpful."

- Anna Hui

"Grammar can be quite complicated, and there aren't too many sources available that make it clear and simple. This program changed everything for me, with its easy to use structure and super helpful, down-to-the-point video explanations. I won't be using any other grammar platform!"

- Alexandr Lyutenskov

"If you are heading to any Teaching English as a Second Language course then you need to prepare! Just because you are a native speaker doesn't mean you remember all those little rules we were taught when we were in 4th grade. This course is a great way to dust the cobwebs off the brain so we can realize WHY we speak the way we speak. It's worth it to take the time before your course to review all of this!"

- Sara Seymour

"Well-organized, engaging, and easy to use! It definitely hits the points you need to know for the exam and takes the time to explain them with good visuals and practice opportunities."

- Bronte de Cardenas

"[Vulingo's English Grammar for TEFL] is succinct and a great way to brush up on your grammar. It's very useful and saves time for the teacher on the go, especially since key ESL grammar points are all located in one area and each topic is covered in less than 10 minutes. (No more scouring the internet for hours!)"

- Jessie Perdomo

Frequently Asked Questions

+ How much time will the course take?

That's entirely up to the TEFL trainee! There are a total of three hours of video in the course, with the exercises in each of the 30+ sections taking about 5-10 minutes each to complete. Trainees spend 10-15 minutes each day and have the course finished in a breezy month (great as a pre-TEFL requirement course!) They can pop into any of the lessons right before they have to teach that grammar point, or pull up the study cards to prepare for their TEFL exam and test their classmates.

+ When is the best time to take the course?

We've had students take the course before, during and after their TEFL programs. Some schools assign it as a pre-course requirement, the month before the TEFL program begins. It's an incredibly useful guide even for those who've been teaching for a while. The structure of the course makes it ideal to use when they just need a grammar refresher or have a question that needs a quick answer.

+ What's the difference between the full course and the ebook?

The eBook is an incredibly thorough 55-page reference guide that can be viewed on any computer, tablet or smart phone. It's perfect for teachers on the go who need to brush up on their grammar right before a lesson. The full course includes video explanations β€” with functional context, structure, graphics, animated timelines, tense comparisons, plus quizzes and language production chats to test what they've learned. Not to mention those 150+ digital study cards to help them pass their TEFL exam. (Oh, and the eBook thrown in!)

+ Are there any refunds?

Request a refund to Jennifer@VuLingo.com within 2 weeks of purchase, and we'll send you a refund, no questions asked.

+ I want to teach English. Does this course give me a certification to do so?

TEFL Certification, or Teaching English as a Foreign Language, (also known as TESOL, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a 4-week accredited program that teaches you how to TEACH English (notice I didn't say, "teaches you ENGLISH"). This online course is meant as a supplement to TEFL courses, to give teachers the knoweldge of the material they are expected to teach (whereas a TEFL course teaches you methodology). If you are interested in enrolling in a top-notch TEFL program, email Jennifer@vulingo.com and I'd be happy to point you in the right direction.

+ Won't my TEFL program teach me grammar?

TEFL programs focus on methodology and classroom dynamics and even the most intensive programs can only dedicate a few hours of the entire 4-week course to reviewing English grammar, but it's your responsibility to know it before the final exam at the end of the course. The best TEFL programs require several hours of student teaching. That means you'll have to teach grammar before you've even passed the 4-week course.

+ Why not just buy a grammar textbook?

There's a reason those stacks of English grammar textbooks are collecting dust in the corner of your local university book store: they're all trying to teach you the same thing in a totally undynamic (read: mind-numbingly dull) way. You don't have time to get into the weeds about esoteric grammar concepts. You need the get-to-the-point method of learning the exact thing you have to teach. Engish Grammar for TEFL is exactly what you need.
